For students

Build your path into astronomy, space science, and STEM.

You do not need to own a telescope or already know astronomy. If you are curious, willing to learn, and interested in science, the Aquila Team pathway is being built for students like you.

What students can explore

Real science skills, not just telescope time.

Observation

Learn how to look carefully, record what you see, and understand the night sky.

Data and research habits

Practice careful notes, repeatable methods, basic analysis, and science communication.

Community science

Help connect local skywatching, outreach, citizen science, and STEM learning in the Northwoods.

Aquila Team

A student pathway being built step by step.

Aquila Team is being developed as a youth astronomy and STEM pathway connected to 46 North Astronomy Center. Early interest from students and teachers helps shape what the program becomes.

Youth safety note: Youth programs will use appropriate parent/guardian permissions, school or partner coordination where applicable, adult supervision, and 46 North youth-protection expectations.
